About Condo 1 of Alexandria

Beginning from a small office in the Port Royal Condominium in Old Town Alexandria under the tutelage of John W. Walker (Walker Real Estate), agents who specialized in the luxury high-rise buildings of Rosslyn (e.g., The Atrium and The Belvedere) formed a new corporation whose name highlighted their specialty. In just thirteen years Condo 1 has built a strong following among condominiumproperty owners in Arlington, Alexandria, Falls Church, and other areas of Northern Virginia. We also have become the most active real estate brokerage firm in several townhouse communities.

In addition, our property management division has grown from managing individual units to small commercial projects. In 2004 Condo 1 began managing condominiumproperty associations and that division of the company continues to grow rapidly.

Thomas K. Meyer

President and Founder of Condo 1, is a licensed real estate broker who has specialized in condominium and townhouse properties since 1988. In 1991, he started what was to become our property management division. Mr. Meyer studied at the Universität Heidelberg (Germany) and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird Campus) in Glendale, Arizona.

He is fluent in French and German. He currently resides in Arlington, Virginia. Son Zachary and daughter Alexandra attend Virginia Tech and James Madison University respectively. Mr. Meyer is a member and past Chairman of the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors Political Action Committee and now serves on the same committee for the entire State of Virginia. In his spare time he travels, plays tennis, writes bad science fiction stories that no one will publish and has done Zero-G cosmonaut training in Russia. He is currently trying to be one of the first private citizens to perform a suborbital flight, which worries his life insurance agent tremendously.

Will Nesbitt

Will is the driving force behind Condo 1 of Alexandria. He is licensed in Virginia and Maryland, but focuses on those communities found near Old Town Alexandria, New Alexandria, Fort Hunt, Huntington, Mount Vernon and Landmark.

Will has been involved in real estate management, sales and investment for more than twenty years. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army. While in the army, he studied Russian at Monterey's Defense Language Institute. He is also a "veteran of the dotcom wars" and built most of the sites associated with Condo 1 of Alexandria.

Will currently resides in Belle Haven Estates just outside Old Town, overlooking New Alexandria. He is a former president of the Mount Vernon Youth Athletic Association and currently helps organize the Alexandria Gamer Group. Will is the author of BattlestorM, a tabletop fantasy game, which was published by Ral Partha Publishing in the late '90's.

Driving Directions to Condo 1 at River Towers

There has been significant construction around the Woodrow Wilson Bridge Project. As a result of many road improvements, we have found that those who follow GPS systems and Mapquest directions can become easily lost when trying to find our office. This is the easiest way to drive to our office:

From 495/95

Exit the Beltway onto US Rt 1 North.
Turn right at the first light (Franklin St.)
Turn right at the next light (Washington St. aka the George Washington Parkway)
You'll know you're at the right place because after a couple of blocks you'll see the country club on the right and the River on the left.
Turn right on Belle View Boulevard. (Left is the marina.)
Turn left on W. Wakefield Dr. Follow three blocks to the end of W. Wakefield.

From Old Town

Take GW Parkway toward Mt. Vernon.
After leaving Old Town turn right on Belle View Boulevard at the marina.
Turn left on W. Wakefield Dr. Follow three blocks to the end of W. Wakefield.

From Rt. 1

Turn onto Beacon Hill Road across from Lowes, Boston Market, Outback and T.G.I.Friday's.
Beacon Hill Road becomes Belle View Boulevard. (No turns.)
Turn right on W. Wakefield Dr. Follow three blocks to the end of W. Wakefield.

Condo 1 is in the nine-story cream-colored brick building at the end of W. Wakefield. Park anywhere. The easiest way to gain entry is to park at the rear near the swimming pool and head for the large awning in building 6641.
